In my first year at University I was assigned the task, as part of the web coding module, to build a website to introduce new students to the life and work in the department of computing. This required me to create a four paged website including the landing page to welcome students to the site; other pages include academic activities, the department and student life. While creating this website I aimed to keep my colour scheme consistent and confident typography across all of the pages. To create this site I designed 4 html documents and 1 CSS file linking to them all. To carry out the coding I used the software Notepad++.

This was the first ever website I had ever created and thoroughly enjoyed spending my time learning about HTML and CSS.
