As part as coursework 3, in my first year, I was given the task to design and build a website that introduces new students to the department of computing. The task will required me to design 4 html documents and 1 CSS file. This assignment also required me to further develop my web design by including a JavaScript document. The three main JavaScript features that I was asked to carry out include a personalised text for the user, different style of pages including large fonts and high contrast and adding a “comments” section to my site. Although my main focus is on the JavaScript of the website I also took into consideration the main features such as a consistent colour scheme and typography throughout the pages on my site.
